Keep focused!

Oh dear lord-- when did I get so friggin old!! It's 5 days later and the time change still has me messed up in the morning! I can not wake up!!!!!!!

Also, school is kickin my booty this semester. Actually I'm fine with the work...I don't mind hard work...but I do mind busy work. This Prof seems to treat us like undergrads or something. Making us do this random outlines for our paper...random technical stuff in classwork that grad students should have down by this point...I just haven't figured him out.

Oh well, gotta keep focus. One week after the semester's end my ladies and I will be in Miami :)

Hmmmmm... I strongly considering a "30 by 30" thing...... I know it's already May but I would count in the 10 lbs that I've already lost. It would, however, mean that I need to get my booty back in gear now that my allergies are dying down and I'm able to breathe again.
If I reached that goal I'd be back to where I need to be and could work on the next 15 to get to where I WANT to be after that....
Hmm.... opinions????

No, I haven't disappeared.. I promise. Nor have I stopped my work outs. However a certain thing has interrupted both..it's called a term paper! (dun dun duuun)

As I write this, I FINALLY see an end in sight. I need to write a conclusion and do a couple more revisions and I'll be good to go, but it's been the cause of my last few Saturdays in the library and many evenings full of reading (on top of the research through out the semester). By this weekend it'll be in and I'll be ready to start packing for Miami :)

Not much to say just didn't want to look like I'd abandoned everything and everyone! :)

Easter Sunday

So sorry!! I completely disappeared for a little while there!! It's definitely that busy time of year!

Gotta confess- the workouts have had a rough week. Starting with the end of last week--concerts and then being out of commission over the weekend because of my infusion on Friday. On top of that, I have my big end-of-semester paper that I'm trying to spend every spare second working on. So I think I only got 3 workouts in last week. :/ Today I see no reason why I shouldn't be able too.

But I definitely need to keep on my game. I need to stay pretty scheduled to make sure that the paper is getting adequate time.

Had a great Easter Sunday. It was sunny and warm which is the only way I like it! :) Plus I got to see my babies for a couple hours. My 'little' Levi was in such a silly mood. I'll have pics on FB by this afternoon. And probably a couple on here tomorrow. Then got to see my fam in the evening. That's always a good time-- packed house and good food (and one snorting bulldog!)

....mmmm... Vitamin D...........

Yay for sunshine! I'm more than okay with it not being super warm yet as long as there is some sunshine. I've seen again, in the last week, just how closely my mood ties in with the sunshine/clouds. It's almost scary!

The workouts this week have been going well. I'm starting to hate the 'plyometric circuit' routine because there is SOOOOO much jumping. I'm all for strengthening the calves and lower body but I'm afraid I'm gonna lose a knee in the process. I think I land to hard or something..... I've started to substitute it with deep lunges so that I'm still getting so leg muscle action but not breaking my leg in the process!
The cardio abs is by far my favorite. It absolutely kicks my butt but I can feel it like crazy. It gets my heart rate up and gets me all kinda sore!!

Not much else going on- just tryin to keep my butt in gear with my semester paper. Gotta keep moving on it so I can get to Miami with the ladies at the end of April!

Okay-- yesterday was much better. I think I'm way too hard on my myself sometimes. Now I still think I should have gotten more school work done over the weekend but I also underestimate the power and necessity of sleep sometimes!!

I got home yesterday and immediately changed into my gym clothes and did my workout (actually I did the full cardio abs workout and half of the pure cardio...made me feel better mentally!). I can feel the soreness in my abs today.... hurts so good! :)

So the bigger issue of this week is what to wear for Alicia on Thursday.... :)

blah....

Well this wasn't the best weekend... I was extremely unproductive which really frustrates me. I did work out on Sunday and got some reading done for school but that was it. I really should have gotten more movement and more schoolwork in. Urg.... guess all I can do is go forward. I know everybody is allowed to have "off" days but ....
